Angels for Angels empowers social enterprise in East Africa. It works with community leaders to create locally-led social enterprises and universities to teach social enterprise and inspire the next generation of social entrepreneurs.
Angels for Angels, a 501(c)3 organization, was founded in 2010 by Mikel Samaniego, who had an idea of a new way to partner with communities to make a difference. His team has grown to include partners across the world who are all committed to working together and alongside community leaders to create projects they are proud of.
How can you help?
We are always looking for people who are passionate and willing to invest their time in growing our organization.
Specifically, we are looking for a Chief Technical Officer who is able to help us innovate new ways to further our mission of empowering social enterprise.
We are also looking for event coordinators. Anyone who has a great, fun, unique and creative idea for an event that is willing to take the lead and work with us to make it happen would be ideal!
We are looking for connections. If you know someone who we should meet, connect us! We love meeting people who are passionate about development, social enterprise, nonprofit, and East Africa!
And lastly, if you would like to contribute financially we have many ways to do that. Ideally it would be a monthly pledge, but any kind of contribution would be huge. We are launching our 2x2 campaign: $2/month helping those living on $2/day. For the price of a drip coffee you can play a huge role in helping our organization grow and serve communities around the world.
