Each meetup features a guest speaker leading a mini workshop on a different facet of running a successful organization, followed by an hour of valuable networking. We flip traditional networking on its head, instead of trying to sell ourselves, we try to make a difference with each other in the moment.
This month's speaker is Ian Adair, Executive Director of the Martinez Foundation. Ian has over 17 years of management and fundraising experience in nonprofit and education, having raised more than $40 million. He has given over 300 professional presentations, managed more than 200 employees and authored curriculum for numerous education programs.
Ian will be presenting on fund development, and what it takes to lead a successful fund development campaign. His presentation will inspire attendees to begin really looking at how they utilize and recognize their current donor base and how great customer service can motivate their stakeholders to work for them.
